Dear Ben,

Thank you for your letter. I am surprised at your choice to learn Japanese. I also think that Japanese is difficult and unusual, but at the same time it is popular now. I also like watching Japanese cartoons.  I study English at school. It is hard for me but I know that English is the most widespread language in the world. I would like to learn French because I am fond of cooking. I would like to be a chief cook in the future. I will cook delicious dishes and, may be, open my own restaurant. What can you say about my idea?

Best wishes,

Dear Ben,

I was thrilled to receive your letter and learn about your newfound interest in Japanese cartoons and your decision to learn Japanese! I agree with you; Japanese animation is fantastic, and exploring the language adds a whole new dimension to the experience.

At school, I currently study English (of course!), French, and Spanish. However, like you, I am intrigued by the idea of learning Japanese too. The culture and the uniqueness of their writing system, as you mentioned, make it an appealing choice.

Your decision to learn Japanese is commendable, and I believe it's definitely worth the effort. Learning a new language opens up a world of possibilities and enriches our understanding of different cultures.

If you decide to pursue Japanese further, perhaps we could learn together and exchange our progress. I'm sure it would be a fun and rewarding experience.

Keep up the great work, Ben, and best of luck on your language learning journey!

Warm regards, [Your Name]
