Most Russian teenagers like to watch football and hockey on TV. I think, football is the most popular sport. The most famous athletes are usually football players. Some of teenagers also like to watch fighting, such as mixed martial arts (MMA), especially when fighters from Russia compete for the title of the world champion. There are also teens who watch basketball because they like this fast and spectacular game.

If a person wants to be a professional athlete, he or she must be healthy, talented, disciplined and ready to work hard. As for me I'm not sure if I have all these qualities, and I don't find the career of a professional sportsman attractive. Being a pofessional means that you will spend a bigger part of your life training and competing. Quite a lot of sportsmen get injured and have to recover for a long time. So, it is great to exercise in order to be fit and healthy, but I wouldn't like to be a pofessional sportsman.
