As of my last update in September 2021, Ukrainians celebrate Easter (known as "Великдень" or "Pаскресіння Христове" in Ukrainian) according to the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition. The date of Easter in Ukraine, as well as in many other Eastern Orthodox countries, is determined by the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar.

Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the vernal equinox, which can vary between April 4th and May 8th in the Gregorian calendar. In most cases, Easter in Ukraine is celebrated later than the Western Christian Easter, which is based on the Gregorian calendar.

Therefore, it is possible for Ukrainians to celebrate Easter either in April or in May, depending on the specific year and the alignment of the lunar and solar calendars.
