а тексте просто уйма грубых ошибок, так что я с трудом сделала это.

Dear Miranda, she wants to get her ears pierced but her parents won't let her. She'd look really cool if she had pierced ears, but if she does it without permission, her parents would be really angry. She doesn't want to hurt or disobey them, but if they understood how old-fashioned their views are, they would let her do it. If she doesn't get her ears pierced, all her friends at school will laugh at her. If I were her, what would I say to them to make them agree? Please help! Jason (aged 13), Basildon.
I understand how he feels, Jason, and I suggest he listens to his mom and dad and does what they say for now. He's only 13, and that's quite young to get his ears pierced. If he waits a year or so before he asks them again, maybe they would say yes. He thinks his friends will understand if he gets his ears pierced now, but is that really true? I think his friends will understand if he says to them, "I really want to get my ears pierced when I'm a bit older, let's be honest." If his friends laugh at him and say he's not cool, they aren't very good friends.
