Many people can try to force someone to accept their point of view which is pointless. Some may like dogs, some may like cats, and someone may have some different kind of pet. Everybody has different financial and physical states and tastes, and that’s why, for instance, a blind person would rather buy a guide-dog, and a choice for a cat could be irrelevant in this particular case.  

Judging pets in a way which is better and more helpful could last forever, so it is much better to do our own choices, not basing on the others’ opinions, because pets aren’t toys for us. So no matter which one do you prefer the most – a cat or a dog, it is obvious that we are responsible for the ones we tamed, as told by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
