Trafalgar square is the largest square in London. It is often considered the heart of the city.

This place is the center of Westminster . It connects the three main streets. Crowds of tourists admire its landmark.

It was designed by architect John Nash in the 1820s.  It was constructed and  officially given its name in 1830.

It feature some of London's top attractions: galleries, historical buildings, monuments.

There is the  monument to Nelson, and the rest of the space includes many other interesting buildings. These are sculptures of great people who played a significant role in the history of England, fountains, two National Galleries which hold about 2300 paintings.

Trafalgar Square is surrounded by many roads, and its center is the main traffic junction. The movement of traffic is intensively growing during the peak hours.
