Climbing a mountain. When I was at primary school, I liked to take with my parents. Those were
great days for all of us. We could talk for hours about everything, laughed and had a lot of fun. One day, when I was about 7, we took a trip to one of the biggest mountains in our region. I could not sleep the night before because I was so excited about trip. The weather was hot and sunny. The first hour of climbing was not hard. Then it became more difficult and I left tired. I wanted to take a rest for a least a minute, but I could not stop because my father said:” You need to put up with some difficulties. If you can do this now, you’ll e a better climber than me.” So, we were climbing and my father was encouraging me. While I was climbing up along a tough and narrow path, I felt absolutely exhausted. But soon we took a short break before climbing to the top of the mountain. At that time the fresh and sweet wind made me feel to cool. I said” Father! Harry up! I want to see the top!” Two hours later, I was able to get top of the mountain. I felt so proud of myself. On the top I could see the huge sun going down in the west. It looked like a big fireball. I can’t remember what my father told me on the top but now I realize that he taught me the way to get over my problems and helped me develop self-confidence. 1.
