I don’t think that accepting the present from your parents is selfish. They want to present a gift to you personally for your efforts in studies. You buy yourself things, clothes, without any regards to what you could spend this money on charity. A tablet is not only a toy, but also a useful thing for study, it will definitely come in handy at the university.
