I (2)was very glad to go to the lake because I (3)had never traveled there before and (4)it was a new experience. On our first evening we (5)left our tents to watch strange lights in the sky. That (6)was really surprising! The lights (7)lasted for several minutes, and then they (8)flew away. We really (9)couldn't explain what they were.

I (10)admired birds over the lake through a telescope. The weather was fine, and during the week I (11)went swimming, (12)fished, and (13)spent a lot of time sunbathing. I had a wonderful time!
