My favourite writer is A.S. Pushkin. He was born in 1837 in St. Petersburg. He graduated Tsarsko-Selskii Lyceum in 1817 and became a collegiate secretary in the Collegium of Foreign Affairs. He wrote a lot of poems, tales and some novels. My favourite character created by Pushkin is Fishman from Tale about the Fish and the Fishman. The Fishman is an ordinary old man living in a hut with his wife. He is hardworking, poor and patient person. His wife is  very greedy and during all tale he tries to fulfil her wishes. At the end of the tale his wife and he again start to live in the hut with a broken washtub But he is so easy-going,  modest and quiet, that  it doesn't make him upset.
