I wanted to be an astronaut a few years ago, but now I don't.

Actually, I first wanted to be an astronaut when I was seven years old and I was given a birthday gift - a big colourful book about stars and spaceships.

I don't want to be a professional astronaut but I would like to go to the Moon as a tourist. I want to see our beautiful planet from the space. Travelling into space sounds interesting too.

As far as I know in order to become an astronaut a person should be fit, healthy, clever, brave, and able to work under pressure.

It is an important job. It takes people a lot of years of learning and training to become an astronaut and space explorer.

As for planet travelling, I would like to travel to Mars because it isn't too far from the Earth, when compared to other planets in our solar system.
