In my opinion, an ideal family member should be on good terms with the rest of the family. For example, he or she should not be aggressive or ungrateful towards his relatives, especially the siblings. He should be as supportive and as understanding as possible. Being competitive with your younger brothers or sisters is not the best thing for you to achieve.

Secondly, an ideal family member should contribute to the household activities. In other words, he should have his own responsibilities. For instance, in our family everyone shares their individual duties, such as sweeping the floor, vacuuming the carpets, watering the plants, taking out the rubbish, shopping for food, fixing things, etc. We enjoy doing these things because they make our life more comfortable and peaceful. We are helpful, tolerant and patient towards each other.

Finally, living under the same roof with your family means meeting your closest people half-way, forgiving them their weaknesses and praising their strengths and achievements.
