This unhealthy self-image leads to serious eating disorders and diseases such as anorexia and bulimia. Most adolescents do not know how to deal with their problems because they do not want to share their feelings and discuss them with their parents or friends. Young people are usually afraid of condemnation and misunderstanding. In this case, it may be useful to consult a professional psychologist who can offer good advice and lend a helping hand.
