My first time in Rome

When i was 11 y.o. my father sent me to my grandmother who lives in Rome. I was so exited, because i never saw my grandmother and of course it was my first time in Rome. When i finally arived, nobody met me, and i was on Rome alone without any information where i am. I almost started to panic but I remembered my father's words: "Never trust any of Rome people, i am also from Rome", and i finally realized: i haven't grandmother in Rome. When I came to my senses, i'm realized that i'm hungry, so i started to seeking some food to eat. After 5 hours i found whole burger in the trash can by the restaurant, i was scared but i ate it. It was very delicious. Then the chef saw me and called me to the restaurant to eat normal food, but i refused. Then i returned to airport and my grandmother found me in tears...

That is how was my first time in Rome

Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Rome, the capital city of Italy. It was a trip that I had been looking forward to for a long time, as Rome is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and delicious food.

Upon arriving in Rome, I was immediately struck by the grandeur of the city. The ancient ruins and iconic landmarks were breathtaking. One of the first places I visited was the Colosseum, a magnificent amphitheater that is over 2,000 years old. Standing in front of this iconic structure, I couldn't help but imagine the gladiatorial battles that took place there centuries ago.

Another highlight of my trip was visiting the Vatican City, the smallest independent state in the world. I was in awe as I walked through St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world. The intricate details and beautiful artwork inside the basilica left me speechless. I also had the chance to visit the Sistine Chapel and see Michelangelo's famous ceiling frescoes, including the iconic painting of "The Creation of Adam."

In addition to exploring the historical sites, I also indulged in the local cuisine. Rome is famous for its pasta, pizza, and gelato, and I made sure to try as many traditional dishes as possible. From the creamy carbonara to the thin-crust Roman-style pizza, every meal was a delight for my taste buds. And of course, I couldn't resist trying different flavors of gelato every day, from classic pistachio to unique combinations like stracciatella and hazelnut.

One of the things that struck me the most about Rome was the vibrant atmosphere. The city is always bustling with life, whether it's locals going about their daily routines or tourists exploring the streets. I loved wandering through the narrow cobblestone streets, stumbling upon charming piazzas, and soaking in the lively ambiance.

Overall, my trip to Rome was an unforgettable experience. The city's rich history, stunning architecture, and delicious food made it a dream destination for any traveler. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to explore this incredible city and immerse myself in its vibrant culture. I hope to visit again someday and continue discovering everything that Rome has to offer.
