He lives with his stepbrother with his aunt and uncle, relatives consider him abnormal and keep him in a closet under the stairs. Even before Harry was born, a prophecy was made that a boy would be born at the end of July, whose parents challenged Voldemort three times and stayed alive. He will either be able to defeat the Dark Lord, or he will die at his hands. Voldemort is an evil magician who was defeated 10 years before the time from which the first book begins, while trying to destroy Harry's entire family.
