The capital of the UK is London. It's a political, economic and commercial centre. It’s one of the largest cities in the world. A city map of London is divided into four parts:  the City, Westminster, the West End and the East End.

The oldest district is the City. Also it is a business and historical heart of London. Such historical landmarks as St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London are situated here.

The richest part is the West End. It is full of supermarkets, cinemas and concert halls. In the centre of the West End is Trafalgar Square. The Square is situated with the famous statue of Admiral Nelson.

The poorest area is the East End. Most of the industrial companies and factories are situated there.

The administrative centre of London is Westminster. The House of Parliament, the seat of the British Government, is there. Westminster Abbey where kings and queens have been crowned and many famous people were buried is in Westminster as well. Come and enjoy the city!
