Dear Tom,
Thank you for your recent letter. I was glad to hear from you again.
I want to tell you that my mother and I are spending a week in Kazakhstan. I'm so happy to be here, as it's my very first time travelling.
We've already visited a lot of places including some big cities, a zoo, local theater and a museum. Most of all I liked the theater, as the performance was very good with elements of singing and dancing.
By the way, we're coming back in a few days. I'm looking forward to meeting my father and little sister at the airport in my city. Write back soon.
Best wishes,

Subject: Greetings from Kazakhstan!
Hey [Pen-friend's name],
I hope this email finds you in high spirits. I'm excited to share my travel adventures with you. Currently, I find myself in the beautiful country of Kazakhstan, soaking up its unique charm. I decided to embark on this journey with a group of friends, and we've been having an amazing time exploring this fascinating place.
During the past week, I've had the opportunity to see some incredible sights. The mesmerizing landscapes of the Altai Mountains left me speechless. The serene lakes and lush green valleys have made me appreciate the wonders of nature even more. Besides, the vibrant markets in Almaty offered a glimpse into the local culture, and I couldn't resist indulging in some delicious traditional cuisine.
However, there's still so much I haven't experienced yet. I haven't had the chance to visit the ancient Silk Road cities like Turkestan, but it's on the top of my list for the next few days. I've also heard about the stunning Charyn Canyon, and I'm eagerly waiting to explore its breathtaking beauty.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I'll be returning home in a couple of days, but I'll cherish the memories and experiences I've gathered during my time here. Kazakhstan has truly left an everlasting impression on me.
Take care, my friend, and I'll catch up with you soon!
Warm regards,
[Your Name]
