We started chatting in Italian, laughing, telling jokes and sharing ar life STORY. It was lots of fun. even started to speak Spanish with the Argentines, and our sentences became a mixture of both Italian and Spanish. But it did not matter at al! No problem. We easily. I am currently studying Italian at a summer school in Tuscany. I arrived just a few days ago and this is my first trip to Italy. Despite not having seen the main tourist attractions yet, I really like this country! Actually, it was my mom's idea to send me here as she thinks that Italy is the most fascinating country in the world. She also believes that my Italian will improve through real-life communication. During dinner in the cafeteria yesterday, I met four other students and we became acquainted. They included two Argentines, a Russian, and a Greek - a mixture of cultures! We began chatting in Italian, laughing, telling jokes, and sharing life stories. It was so much fun that we even started speaking Spanish with the Argentines, resulting in a mixture of both Italian and Spanish. It didn't matter though, as we easily understood each other. I wish more people would speak foreign languages as it helps to understand the culture and mentality of other people, and it also helps us to make friends.
