Інтернет – великий винахід нашого часу. Якщо подумати, коли ще в людини були такі можливості спілкування та отримання інформації, як зараз? Чи могли наші дідусі та бабусі уявити собі, що можна буде будь-якої хвилини зв’язатися з близькими, що живуть на іншому континенті? Чи прочитати будь-яку книгу, не йдучи до бібліотеки, купити річ, не виходячи з дому? Побачити завдяки веб-камері, що відбувається в іншій частині світу прямо зараз? Поспілкуватися в «Твіттері» з зарубіжною співачкою?Як і більшість явищ у нашому житті, Інтернет може нести і користь, і шкоду. Кажуть, що там багато неперевіреної інформації. А ще Інтернет привчає нас до сидячого способу життя, що не корисно для здоров'я. Мабуть, саме через це батьки не дозволяють проводити в Мережі надто багато часу.Інтернет – це безмежний простір інформації та спілкування, в якому неважко загубитися надовго. І часто трапляється, що почав читати щось потрібне  та цікаве та якось непомітно опинився на незнайомому сайті, де читаєш якісь плітки останні півгодини… Або годинами переписуєшся з друзями на «Вконтакті» замість того, щоб зустрітися у дворі.  Проте я впевнений, що переваг в Інтернету значно більше. Він допомагає в навчанні. Є дуже корисні сайти, наприклад «Вікіпедія», на якій коротко та в доступній формі викладено матеріали про будь-яке явище, видатну людину чи історичну подію.  А ще мені дуже подобається, що в Мережі я можу спілкуватися з тими, хто має спільні  захоплення зі мною. Я люблю фотографувати, тому зареєструвався на сайті, де інші любителі фото також викладають свої роботи та коментують одне одного, дають поради. Мій молодший брат з татом – фанати «Лего», тож вони також спілкуються на форумі однодумців. А мама часто готує смачні страви, рецепти яких знайшла на «Вконтакті».На мою думку, Інтернет –  це добрий помічник у всьому, треба лише навчитися сортувати інформацію та не нехтувати живим спілкуванням, заняттями спортом та іншими корисними  справами.
