«12 апреля 1961 года был произведён первый в мировой истории вывод космического корабля на орбиту с человеком на борту. Корабль назывался «Восток», а человека, совершившего этот подвиг – Юрий Гагарин. Наш соотечественник, первый из землян, посетивший космос, благополучно вернулся на родную Землю, пробыв в космосе в общей сложности 108 минут. Именно Советский Союз открыл космическую эру в жизни человечества.

Subject: Discovering the Wonders of Space!
Dear First Graders,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits! Today, I have an exciting topic to discuss with you all - space exploration and the amazing world of astronauts!
Did you know that there is a vast universe beyond our planet Earth? It's called space, and it's filled with countless stars, planets, galaxies, and so much more! Exploring space is one of the most fascinating endeavors humans have ever embarked upon.
Let's start with the brave men and women who venture into space - the astronauts! Astronauts are highly trained individuals who travel in special vehicles called spaceships or rockets. They wear special suits to protect themselves from the harsh conditions of space, like the lack of air and extreme temperatures.
Astronauts go on space missions to study and explore different aspects of space. They conduct experiments, observe distant celestial bodies, and even build space stations where they can live and work for extended periods. One such space station is the International Space Station (ISS), where astronauts from various countries live and conduct research together.
But what about the rockets that take astronauts to space? Well, rockets are enormous vehicles specifically designed to carry people and equipment into space. They are incredibly powerful, and their engines create a tremendous amount of thrust to propel them out of Earth's atmosphere and into space.
Once in space, astronauts experience things that we can only imagine. They float around because there is no gravity in space! They eat special space food, which comes in packages that can be easily consumed without making a mess. They also sleep in special sleeping bags that keep them attached to the walls of their spacecraft.
Astronauts have contributed a lot to our understanding of space. Through their missions, they have helped us learn more about the planets in our solar system, discover new galaxies, and unravel the mysteries of the universe.
So, my dear first graders, isn't space exploration fascinating? Next time you look up at the night sky, remember that there is a whole universe waiting to be explored. Who knows, maybe one day, some of you will become astronauts and venture into space yourselves!
Until then, keep dreaming big, asking questions, and exploring the wonders of our world, both on Earth and beyond!
With warm regards, [Your Name]
