Более 80 лет назад В.М.Бехтерев, выступая на открытии института в Петербурге, сказал: "В наше время высшие школы преследуют только профессиональные задачи, они готовят юристов, врачей, архитекторов и др. Но при этом упущено из виду, что в центре этой работы должен быть поставлен человек, что для государства, кроме профессиональных деятелей, нужны лица, которые понимали бы, что такое человек, как и по каким законам развивается его психика". Ранее было время угнетения народа и граждан СССР все должны были учится хотя бы хорошо и быть послушными , тогда эта проблема была актуальна , ведь не было психологов , а когда ученик упрямился вместо того что бы с ним поговорить и мирно всё решить ---- БИЛИ его ... Это касательно понимания человека 

Сейчас же такие люди есть практически в каждой школе или университете но ... НЕ всегда всё гладко - были случаи когда сам психолог настаивал на том что бы этого ученика отправили в интернат , чего психолог делать не должен ! Сейчас же такие люди мало где нужны так как на улице 21 век и все знают кто такой человек и что такое человечность + есть много психологов и умных педагогов которые никогда не допустят такого ... 

Что касается проф.деятельности то такие люди всегда нужны были и наше время не исключение ... Ну какой же лицей или институт без директора ? кто бы тогда решал все проблемы ? 

Эта проблема сейчас мало где встречается так как директоров и ЗАВУЧей а так же и остальных людей которые должны контролировать это всё МНОГО !
