When they reached the cave, they shone their flashlights inside. The cave was dark and damp, with rocks covering the ground. John and his friends slowly made their way into the cave. As they walked further in, the cave opened up into a large chamber. The boys walked around, shining their flashlights on the walls. Suddenly, John's light fell on something shiny on the ground. He walked over and saw that it was an old coin. John picked it up and showed it to his friends. They continued exploring the cave, finding more old coins and other treasures. When they came out of the cave, the boys were excited to tell their parents about the adventure they had that day in the cave.
