На мой взгляд нет, потому что о дружбе он отзывался так: "...я к дружбе не способен: из двух друзей всегда один раб другого, хотя часто ни один из них в этом себе не признается; рабом я быть не могу, а повелевать в этом случае — труд утомительный, потому что надо вместе с этим и обманывать..." И демонстрирует он это, своим холодным отношение к Максиму Максимовичу. С Грушницким у них оже не получилось дружеских отношений, потому что Грушницкий подлый человек. Единственные дружеские отношения у него сложились с Вернером. Они сошлись, потому что у них было много общих взглядов на те или иные вещи. Но их дружба быстро закончилась, так как Вернер покинул Печорина после дуэли с Грушницким, испугавшись того, что его могут привлечь к делу об убийстве. В те времена дуэли наказывались, именно поэтому из смерти Грушницкого делают несчастный случай
