Настя, увлекшись сбором клюквы, не скоро вспомнила о брате. А Митраша сбился с человеческой тропы и прямо полез в Слепую елань, попал в трясину, чуть не погиб. Спасла его собака Травка, потерявшая хозяина и живущая теперь в лесу. Она почуяла человеческую беду и пришла ему на помощь.
