Потому что если не останется человечности в нашем "прекрасном" мире, то нас всех придется изолировать от нормального общества (если оно будет), и держать в зоопарках как диких зверей))) ведь человечность, (то бишь умение сострадать, любить и т.д) является одним из факторов, которое определяет человека как вид - "человек разумный"
И если почитать книжки про духовенство и разные пути развития личности, в становлении человека человеком (типа эволюция))) ) сыграло роль именно человечность.
