Скрудж погано ставився до інших .В нього ніхто не питав ничого та не просив .Був жадібний та неспівчував іншим.Але коли прийшов перший привид в Скруджа почав розкриватися характер ,якого ніколи не паказував.Він після усіх привидів ставав співчутливим та добрим.Хвилювався за Тіма.

Scrooge's greed blinded him to the suffering of others. When the charity workers came asking for donations to help the poor, Scrooge dismissed them and said "Are there no prisons? And the union workhouses? Are they still in operation?" He had no empathy for those less fortunate.

His selfishness also isolated him from other people. Scrooge worked all the time and had no friends or family who cared for him. When the charity workers wished him a merry Christmas, Scrooge just snarled "Bah! Humbug!" in response He drove everyone away with his miserly and unpleasant behavior.

Without human connections, Scrooge was miserable and alone. The ghosts of Christmas helped him realize that money cannot buy happiness or undo past mistakes and lost opportunities. True wealth lies in having meaningful relationships and bringing joy to others. Scrooge finally learned this important lesson by the end of the story.
