Answer: During my last holiday, I had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful seaside town called Cancun in Mexico. I spent a week there, from December 20th to December 27th. The main reason for choosing Cancun as my holiday destination was to escape the cold winter weather back home and enjoy some sun, sand, and relaxation.

I traveled to Cancun with my family, including my parents and my younger sister. We were all in need of a break from our busy lives and wanted to spend quality time together. It was a great opportunity for us to bond and create lasting memories.

While in Cancun, we indulged in various activities and explored the local attractions. We spent a lot of time lounging on the pristine beaches, soaking up the warm sun, and swimming in the crystal-clear turquoise waters. We also went snorkeling and had the chance to witness the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. It was awe-inspiring to witness the grandeur of this ancient civilization and learn about their rich history. We also took a day trip to the nearby island of Isla Mujeres, where we enjoyed snorkeling with tropical fish and relaxing on the picture-perfect beaches.

In the evenings, we explored the vibrant nightlife in Cancun. We tried traditional Mexican cuisine at local restaurants, danced to lively music, and enjoyed spectacular fire shows.

Overall, my last holiday in Cancun was a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and quality time with my family. It was a much-needed break from the everyday routine and a chance to create cherished memories.
