How I spent summer holidays
Summer is my favorite season. Summer holidays give the longest rest from studying of the year that’s why I like them so much.
In June I stayed at home and my parents were at work. But I was glad because at last I had time for myself. I read books, listened to music, watched films and visited my friend. I spend most days outdoors and got a nice sun tan.
Then I spent two weeks in the summer camp on the seaside. It was a real fun. I met a lot of new friends. Every day we enjoyed something special - games, carnivals, competitions, performances. We went to the seaside twice a day. There we swam, bathed in the sun, played volleyball on the beach, made sculptures of sand. We had discos every night, but not too long. I guess, those were the most exciting weeks of the summer. It gave me bright impressions, lots of funny photos and some new friends.
Then my parents were on vacation and so they took me to my parent’s place in the village. It’s a very picturesque place with a forest and a river nearby. I was happy to see my grandmother and grandfather. I spent hot days on the riverbank. Once we went hiking with my parents, made fire, gathered some berries. The summer forest is very beautiful. In the evening I usually helped in the garden.
Last month of the summer I was at home again, having rest from such an intensive rest! I did usual things and prepared for school. I like my summer holidays!

Они подарили мне яркие впечатления, много веселых фотографий и новых друзей.
Затем мои родители пошли в отпуск и взяли меня собой к дедушке и бабушке в деревню. Это очень живописное место, с речкой и лесом поблизости. Я был рад увидеть дедушку и бабушку. В жаркие дни я все время был на речке. Однажды мы с родителями ходили в поход, разводили костер, собирали какие-то ягоды. По вечерам я обычно помогал в саду.
Последний месяц лета я провел дома, отдыхая от такого насыщенного отдыха. Занимался обычными делами и готовился к школе. Мне понравилось, как я провел летние каникулы.

How I Spent My Summer

Summer is my favorite season of the year. It is a time when I can relax, have fun, and enjoy the beautiful weather. This summer was particularly memorable for me as I had the opportunity to explore new places, learn new things, and spend quality time with my loved ones.

To start off my summer, my family and I went on a much-needed vacation to a tropical island. The white sandy beaches, clear blue waters, and palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze made it a paradise on Earth. We spent our days swimming, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. In the evenings, we would watch the sunset and enjoy delicious seafood dinners.

After our vacation, I decided to invest my time in learning a new skill. I enrolled in a cooking class where I learned how to whip up some mouthwatering dishes. From pasta carbonara to chocolate lava cakes, I discovered my love for culinary arts and developed a newfound passion for experimenting with flavors in the kitchen. It was immensely rewarding to see my skills improve with each dish I prepared.

Apart from cooking, I also dedicated some time to pursue my hobbies. I spent countless hours reading mystery novels, immersed in the thrilling plotlines and trying to solve the cases alongside the detectives. I also made it a point to practice playing the piano every day. The feeling of losing myself in the music, expressing my emotions through the keys, was both therapeutic and fulfilling.

In addition to all these activities, I made sure to spend quality time with my friends. We often organized outdoor picnics, barbecues, and movie nights. These get-togethers were filled with laughter, storytelling, and creating beautiful memories. We would take long walks in the park, go on hiking trails, and have deep conversations under the starry night sky.

As the summer drew to a close, I reflected on how fortunate I was to have experienced such an incredible summer. It was a time of adventure, growth, and rejuvenation. I had explored new places, discovered new interests, and strengthened the bonds with my loved ones. The warmth of the sun, the joy of laughter, and the feeling of complete freedom will forever be etched in my heart.

All in all, my summer was filled with happiness and unforgettable moments. It was a time of self-discovery and relaxation. I am grateful for the memories created and the lessons learned. Summer may come and go, but the experiences and memories it brings will always remain in my heart.
