I am very proud of the fact I was born in Russia! Russia is the largest country in the world. It's history dates back in the medival times. Russia is the counry of high mountains, long rivers, hills and valleys. Moscow is a capital of my country. It is a cultural and business center of Russia. Moscow was found by Yourii Dolgorukii.There are many museums and cathedrals there. Russia is also famous for it's people. Everybody knows Alexander Pushkin and Leo Tolstoy, our prominent writers. Yourii Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova were first man and woman who reached the open space. Sergei Rachmaninov and Tchaikovski are well-known, great musicians! To conclude, I'd like to say that Russia is the country of hopes and new possibilities. I love it very much. -------------- Я очень горд тем, я родился в России! As I spent the winter break

My winter holidays were great. This year poured a lot of snow, so bored it once. Together with friends we went sledding, making snowmen, played in the snow and just had fun. In the evening I watched TV, talked to friends on the phone and occasionally played in the computer.

The second week my family took me on a winter resort. I'm not very good go skiing, so it was difficult at first to learn to ski down the mountain. But the next day I learned to keep a balance and fell to the ground only a few times. The ski resort we stayed 5 days. During this time I managed to make friends and girlfriends, which is now communicate and keep in touch on the Internet. We hope to meet again in the same place next year.

By the end of the winter holidays, my mood plummeted. I remembered that I had not done some homework. But all the same I had in stock a couple of days, and I managed to do the job, Yes the start of classes. How quickly the holidays! And as long stretches of the school year!

Excited by the opportunity, Emily thought hard about what she desired most. She realized that her greatest wish was for the village to have a clean and sustainable source of water. So, she told the oak tree about her wish.

The tree nodded solemnly and said, "To make your wish come true, you must complete three tasks. The first task is to find a rare flower that only blooms in the moonlight. It can only be found deep within the heart of the forest."

Determined, Emily set off on her quest. She searched high and low, following the moonlight until she finally discovered the elusive flower. With the flower in hand, she returned to the oak tree.

Impressed, the oak tree revealed the second task. "You must build a well in the village square. The well must be deep enough to reach the underground water source and must be built with eco-friendly materials."

Emily enlisted the help of the villagers, and together they built a well using sustainable materials. It took days of hard work, but finally, the well was complete. The villagers were overjoyed, knowing that they now had access to clean and safe drinking water.

With one task left, the oak tree presented Emily with the final challenge. "You must plant a hundred trees around the village to ensure the long-term sustainability of the forest and its resources."

Emily rallied the villagers once again, and they spent weeks planting trees, creating a beautiful green landscape. The forest thrived, and the village became a model of environmental conservation.

Finally, Emily returned to the oak tree, having completed all three tasks. The tree smiled and said, "You have proven yourself worthy, young Emily. Your wish shall be granted."

True to its word, the oak tree used its magic to bring forth a natural spring that provided clean and sustainable water to the village. The villagers rejoiced, and Emily's name was forever etched in their hearts as the girl who saved their village.

From that day forward, Emily continued her adventures, using her kind heart and determination to help others and protect the environment. And the enchanted forest remained a symbol of the power of a single individual to make a difference.
