Как написать на англ. яз. Как-то раз зимой мама предложила: «По­едемте в воскресенье в Солотчу кататься на лыжах и санках. Я слышала от знакомых, что туда люди приезжают семьями и отлично отдыхают». Мы согласились и в ближайший выходной отправились в Солотчу. Там пря­мо в бору на берегу реки Старицы расположе­на довольно высокая и крутая гора, которую местные жители нарекли Лысой. Действительно, народу там оказалось очень много: и взрослых, и детей. Шумно, ве­село! Кто с визгом катится с горы на санках, кто — на автомобильных ковриках, а некото­рые — на маленьких картонках, на середине пути выскакивающих из-под седока. Чуть поодаль у подножия — небольшие павильоны. Там можно перекусить и согреться горячим чаем. Рядом — лыжня, которая уводит в лес. А там тишина и красота! Деревья-великаны замерли в зимнем оцепенении, иногда осыпа­ется с ветки пушистый снег. Мы успели покататься и на санках с го­ры, и на лыжах по лесу. Впечатлений от этого зимнего дня осталось очень много.

Once in winter Mom suggested, "Let's go skiing and sledding on Sunday to Solotcha. I hear from friends that whole families go there and have a good rest."  We agreed, and at the nearest weekend went to Solotcha. There right in the wood on the banks of the River Staritsa is quite a high and steep mountain, which locals call Lysaia. Indeed,  there were very many people, both adults and children. It is noisy there and a lot of fun! Some are shrieking slide downhill on their sleds, others on their the car floor mats, and some - on the small pieces of cardboard which are popping up from under the rider halfway the hill. A little further from the mountain foot there is a small pavilion. There you can eat and warm yourself up with a cup of hot tea. Nearby there are trails that lead into the woods - quiet and beautiful! Giant trees frozen in the winter torpor. Sometimes fluffy snow falls down from the branches. We had enogh time to ride on a sledge from the mountain top and to ski in the woods. We were under greatmpression from that winter's day.

We agreed, and on the next weekend, we set off for Solotcha. There, right in the forest on the bank of the Staritsa River, stood a fairly tall and steep hill that the locals called "Bald." Indeed, there were a lot of people there - both adults and children. It was noisy and lively! Some people were screaming as they slid down the hill on sleds, others on makeshift car mats, and some on small cardboard pieces, popping out from under the seat halfway down the slope. A little further away at the foot of the hill, there were small pavilions where you could grab a snack and warm up with hot tea. Nearby, there was a ski trail that led into the woods. There, it was quiet and beautiful! The giant trees stood frozen in winter stillness, occasionally showering fluffy snow from their branches. We managed to sled down the hill and ski through the forest. We had so many impressions from this winter day.
