I have a good summer holidays this year. And now I want to tell you about my rest time during my summer. The school year is over and I can do that I want. But my parents decide to send me to the summer camp. At the beginning I was angry, but my adventures were waiting me in the future.

I went to the summer camp. At the beginning I didn’t feel myself well. But in the second day I got acquainted with a good boy. We are speaking a lot of time about everything in the world. We spoke about dolphins. He told me how he visited a water park with his parents. At that time he could communicate with the dolphins. 

In this summer camp I took part in the swimming competitions. Our team took the first place and we were much enjoyed. My trainer said me that I was the best sportsman in our team. As for me I think when I’ll come back home I’ll go to our local sport club. I hope I shall be the best sportsman there. My friends were the best in the football, volleyball, basketball. I was out-living for my friends, when they took part in chess competitions.

My Summer Camp Experience

Every summer, many children go to different places to spend their holidays. Some prefer to travel abroad to see different countries, others like to visit their relatives or stay at home and go to various museums and cinemas. But, as for me, this summer I decided to spend it not as usual. I went to a summer camp. It was an amazing place. It was located near a lake and a forest.

The summer camp was organized by a local school. There were about 50 kids from different ages and backgrounds. We were divided into four teams: red, blue, green, and yellow. Each team had its own name, flag, and motto. We competed in various games and contests, such as sports, quizzes, talent shows, and treasure hunts. The team with the most points at the end of the camp would win a special prize.

The camp lasted for two weeks. Every day, we had a different schedule. We woke up at 7 a.m. and did some morning exercises. Then we had breakfast and got ready for the first activity. The activities were very diverse and fun. We learned how to make a fire, how to pitch a tent, how to fish, how to cook, and how to survive in the wild. We also had some lessons on ecology, geography, history, and culture. We visited some interesting places, such as a waterfall, a cave, a museum, and a farm.

The best part of the camp was the evenings. We gathered around a bonfire and sang songs, told stories, played games, and roasted marshmallows. Sometimes, we had a disco or a movie night. We made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun. We also learned a lot of new things and improved our skills.

The summer camp was an unforgettable experience that I will always remember. It taught me how to be more independent, responsible, and cooperative. It also helped me to appreciate nature and to respect other people. I would recommend summer camp to anyone who wants to have a great time, make new friends, and learn something new.
