I think that no one have the same point of view and there is no repeating period of time. Nothing is lasts forever and some aspects of our life are different and one of them, it is safety of life. May be at the days before us were safe days, but today we also have many ways to keep our life safeley. It can be security or some another types of defending from outer danger, but the truth is that you can not be sure about your tommorow.
