It is far from Moscow, but in the end we didn't regret it. To save time, my dad offered to get there by plane. The flight lasted about four hours. The same day we arrived, my uncle showed us the local sights. I must admit that the city is quite beautiful. We saw Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral and the monument to Suvorov. When we got back, my uncle's wife, aunt Zoe, has prepared for us a delicious dinner consisting of rice pilaf. For dessert they had sweet cakes with tea. Spending time in Novokuznetsk, I learned that many prominent people lived and worked in this city. For example, the famous poet Bardin, Explorer of Siberia – Spassky, singer and actress Elena Kamburova, a Soviet football player Zinchenko. I was delighted to learn that in Novokuznetsk has its own hockey team and one of the best Rugby leagues in Russia. Sorry we could not stay longer at least for another week, because soon we had to return home. My spring break is over and Monday I started school.
