а так в основном нужно просто запомнить что:
в Present Simple указывается действие которое часто используется в нашей жизни, т.е мы делаем это каждый день или каждый месяц...

Я кушаю каждый день -I  eat every day
когда (он, она, оно) к глаголу добавляется s - He(she it) eats every day
Формула:
-утвердительная форма:
I(we, you, they) eat (drive, play и т.д)
He(she it) eats(drives, plays)
-отрицательная форма с помощью вспомогательных глаголов do и does
I(we, you, they) don't eat
He(she it) doesn't  eat(drive, play)
-вопросительная форма
do и does просто ставишь вперед и все остальное без изменения
Do you eat every day?
Does he eat every day?

в Present Continuous действие употребляется в настоящее время что ты делаешь в данный момент

формула:
to be + Ving
I(am)
He she It (is)
We you they (are)
Пример: Я пишу ответ в данный момент
I am writing answer now

Understanding the Present Simple and Present Continuous Tenses

To understand the differences between the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses, let's break down each tense and discuss their usage.

Present Simple: The Present Simple tense is used to describe habitual actions, general truths, and permanent situations. It is often used with adverbs of frequency such as "always," "usually," "never," "often," "every day," and specific time expressions like "on Saturday" or "every Friday" [[1]](https://externat.foxford.ru/polezno-znat/wiki-english-present-simple-present-continuous).

Example: - I work at the office every day. - She knows that you work there.

In the Present Simple tense, we use the base form of the verb for all subjects except for the third person singular, where we add "-s" or "-es" to the verb.

Example: - He works at the office every day.

Present Continuous: The Present Continuous tense is used to describe actions happening at the moment of speaking, temporary situations, and actions in progress. It is often used with time expressions like "now," "at the moment," "today," "this week," "this month," and "this weekend" [[1]](https://externat.foxford.ru/polezno-znat/wiki-english-present-simple-present-continuous).

Example: - I am working on a project right now. - She is studying for her exams this week.

In the Present Continuous tense, we use the present participle form of the verb, which is formed by adding "-ing" to the base form of the verb.

Example: - He is working on a project right now.

Key Differences between Present Simple and Present Continuous

1. Time Frame: The Present Simple tense refers to actions that happen regularly, repeatedly, or are general truths. The Present Continuous tense refers to actions happening at the moment or temporary situations [[1]](https://externat.foxford.ru/polezno-znat/wiki-english-present-simple-present-continuous).

2. Verb Forms: In the Present Simple tense, we use the base form of the verb, except for the third person singular where we add "-s" or "-es" to the verb. In the Present Continuous tense, we use the present participle form of the verb, which is formed by adding "-ing" to the base form of the verb.

3. Adverbs and Time Expressions: The Present Simple tense is often used with adverbs of frequency and specific time expressions. The Present Continuous tense is often used with time expressions that indicate the present moment or a temporary situation.

Examples:

1. Present Simple: - I work at the office every day. - She knows that you work there.

2. Present Continuous: - I am working on a project right now. - She is studying for her exams this week.

Remember, the key to understanding the differences between the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses is to consider the time frame, verb forms, and the adverbs or time expressions used in the sentence.

I hope this explanation helps you better understand the differences between the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses. Let me know if you have any further questions!
