Oleg Mikhaylovich Gazmanov is a Russian pop singer, composer and poet, specializing in patriotic songs that glorify Russia and Russian history.

He is born in the 22th of July, 1951, in in Russia, in the town Gusev, Kaliningrad Oblast.

He studied at the Kaliningrad Naval Engineering College.

In 1981 he finished the Kaliningrad's Musical College. His specialisation was a guitar.

In 1988 he wrote a very famous song for children named «Lucy».

His singing career has begun in 1989.

Since 1989 he is a constant participant and winner at the popular annual TV Awards show Song Of The Year as a singer, composer and a songwriter.

In 1997 he began concert tours all over Russia and abroad (in the USA).

He became one of the most famous pop stars in Russia because he is a good and very talented singer, composer and songwriter.

Besides, he managed to become four times winner of the Ovatsia National Prize. He wrote six albums and he got Honorary Master's Degree in Art of Popular Music and the Medal for Children's Love.

Regarding his personality: he has always originality and a great enthusiasm. He is a hard-working person who is good-natured and talented as well.

He will be always a special image on a Russian stage.
