American Version of the English Language A language is the reflection of the national culture of

the country, where it was formed. In the course of time the language is changing, and the history of the nation influences on the nature of these changes. American nation has a rich experience and as a consequence the American version of the English language has some distinctions in pronunciation and a set of original vocabulary. The American dialect of English is divided into three types: basic, eastern and southern. Travelling across the United States you can also face to some new accents and specific vocabulary. The southern type of American English was based on the linguistic mixture of French and African, because this territory of the country was in the power of the slave-owners from France.  How to identify the southern dialect? The letter “r” serves only for the vowel longitude, but does not sound. And the letter combination “ng” sounds like “n”. The southern people pronounce the sound [e] instead of [i]. Thus, without the context it is very hard to understand some words. For example, “pin” and “pen” sound identically. The cultural diversity if the West has resulted in the new dialect, the most difficult to understand. The western accent sounds like a speaker is chewing a gum all the time. The sound [r] is very stretched here. The northeastern part of the U.S. was settled by immigrants from the European countries, primarily  from the Great Britain. In this regard, the inhabitants of the northeast speak a basic dialect that is very similar to the British version of the English language. However, wherever you were in the United States, you will be understood by each American, if you pronounce the English words correctly in accordance with the general phonetic rules. But in order to feel in the U.S. right at home, you should learn the specifications of American version of English. НАЙТИ ВСЕ СУЩЕСТВИТЕЛЬНЫЕ

American version of the English language has some distinctions in pronunciation and a set of original vocabulary. The American dialect of English is divided into three types: basic, eastern, and southern. The southern type of American English, for example, is influenced by a linguistic mixture of French and African due to the historical power of slave-owners from France in this region. This can be identified by certain pronunciations, such as the letter "r" being used only for vowel length and not sounded, and the letter combination "ng" sounding like "n." Additionally, the sound [e] is often pronounced instead of [i]. The western accent, on the other hand, is known to be the most difficult to understand due to the cultural diversity in this region. It has a unique accent that often sounds as if the speaker is chewing gum all the time. The sound [r] is stretched out in this accent. The northeastern part of the U.S. was settled by immigrants primarily from European countries, especially Great Britain. As a result, the inhabitants of the northeast speak a basic dialect that is very similar to the British version of English. Regardless of the specific region in the United States, proper pronunciation according to general phonetic rules will generally ensure understanding by all Americans. However, to truly feel at home in the U.S., it is beneficial to learn the specificities of the American version of English.
