Hello Galyna,

     I`m writing to you from London sitting on the bench near the Palace of Westminster. I decided to write to you right here, while I have an opportunity to look at this marvelous building. You know, - it is amazing to view!  People from all corners of the world are flocking to this place to take pictures of it, so I thought that  I should buy a postcard with this building because it is an unforgettable place to see.
      So, the Palace is one of the most significant monuments of neo-Gothic architecture. It is very high building performed in the perpendicular style, and its admirable oak roof is one of the greatest achievements of medieval construction in wood. I do not know exactly what square it covers, but it took me an hour to walk around it.  The building is designed with the typical English flair, all walls of it are symmetrically dependent as if a great mathematician worked on them. It has been beautifully redesigned not long ago, that is why it looks so sophisticated and elegant.
       Galyna I think you are going to like this postcard very much because sometimes words cannot convey the authentic beauty of a place.

Dear Galyna/Oles,

Greetings from Great Britain! I hope this postcard finds you well. I wanted to share some of the amazing places I've visited during my trip here.

Firstly, I am currently in London, the capital city of England. It is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and diverse culture. The site in the picture is the iconic Big Ben. This magnificent clock tower is located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. It is a symbol of London and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The clock tower stands tall and majestic, overlooking the River Thames. Its melodious chimes can be heard throughout the city, marking the passing of time.

Next, I visited the stunning Stonehenge, located in Wiltshire. This prehistoric monument consists of a ring of colossal standing stones, each weighing tons. It is believed to have been built around 2500 BC and has puzzled archaeologists and visitors alike for centuries. The purpose and meaning behind this ancient structure remain a mystery, adding to its intrigue and allure.

Lastly, I explored the picturesque city of Edinburgh in Scotland. The site in the picture is the famous Edinburgh Castle. Perched atop an extinct volcano, the castle offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. It is a symbol of Scottish history and heritage, housing the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. The castle also hosts the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a spectacular event that showcases traditional music, dance, and military performances.
