Нужен пересказ текста.Пересказ нужно сделать от имени автора.Можно в прошлом времени( по сути без разницы+ переделать в непрмую речь) AT HOME The bus I catch doesn't go up the hill and when I get off at the corner I catch the smell of fish and chips and I cross the road and call at the shop and buy a fish and four penn'orth of chips. I eat them out of the paper as I'm going up the hill. I really like fish and chips and there's no better way of eating them than in the open air. They last me till I get to the gate. It's half past ten and the Old Lady and the Old Man are sitting with the table-lamp on watching television when I go in. "Do you want some supper?" the Old Lady asks me. "I've had some fish and chips on my way." "You'll want a drink of something, I suppose?" "It's all right; don't bother; I'll make some cocoa." I go into the kitchen and make the cocoa and bring it back into the living-room and sit down on the sofa at the back and light a cigarette. I'm thinking about Ingrid as I watch the picture4 that's on TV. I'm wondering what happened that she didn't come to meet me. "Where've you been?" the Old Lady says in a minute. "Pictures." "By yourself?" "With Willy Lomas." "Willy Lomas? I don't think I know him, do I?" "I used to6 go to school with him." "I don't know why you pay good money to go to the pictures when you can see them at home for nothing," says the Old Man. "You can't show colour and Cinemascope on TV." "Cinemascope?" "Wide screen ….. bigger." "But they're pictures, just the same, aren't they?" I don't bother to argue about it. The picture's finished and there's a toothpaste ad on and I get up and throw my cig-end in the fire. "Going up?" the Old Lady says. "Yes, I'm ready for it. Had a busy day today." I say good night and go upstairs. There's a light in Jim's room. I go into our bathroom and wash my face and clean my teeth as quickly as I can. As I'm coming out Jim calls me. "What is it?" "A letter for you." I take it and look at it. I look at my name on the envelope and all at once I begin to get excited. "Where did you get this?" "I found it behind the front door. Somebody pushed it in while we were watching television. There's no stamp on it." There's no address on it, either; just my name. I shut the door behind me before I open the letter. "Dear Vie," it says. "My cousin decided to catch a later train and I went with her to the station to see her off. The train was late and it was after half past seven when I got back. I went to where we'd arranged to meet but of course you'd gone. I'm going to be at the same place tomorrow night. (Sunday). I hope you can come. Love, Ingrid."

The bus I caught didn`t go up the hill. I got off and smelt fish and chips and bought some in the shop. They lasted me till I got to the gate.
The Old Lady and the Old Man were sitting with the table-lamp on watching television when I went in.

The Old Lady asked if I wanted some supper or a drink of something. I said I had had fish and chips on my way home. I went into the kitchen and made a cocoa and brought it back into the living room. I sat on the sofa and lighted a cigarette. I was thinking of Ingrid. I was wondering what had happened that she hadn`t come to meet me.

The Old Lady asked where I had been. I answered that I had been to the pictures with my school friend Willy Lomas.

The Old Man wondered why I payed good money to go to the pictures when I could see them at home for nothing. I answered that they can`t show colour and Cinemascope on TV. The Old Man argued that pictures are the same.

I didn`t want to argue any more and went upstairs to the bathroom. I washed my face and cleaned my teeth as quickly as I could. As I was coming out, Jim called me and gave me a letter. He said he had found it behind the front door when we were watching TV. There was no address, no stamp on it, just my name.

I shut the door behind me and opened the letter. It was from Ingrid. She explained, that her cousin had decided to catch a later train and Ingrid went with her to the station to see her off. The train was late and Ingrid was late to the dating, too. She said she was going to be at the same place the next day night – Sunday. She hoped I could come.

Дома. Автобус, на который я обычно сажусь, не поднимается на холм. Когда я выходю на углу, я чувствую запах рыбы с картофельным пюре, и я переходю дорогу, захожу в магазин и покупаю порцию рыбы и четыре пенса картофельного пюре. Я ем их, разворачивая бумажку, идя вверх по холму. Мне действительно нравится рыба с картофельным пюре, и нет ничего лучше, чем есть их на свежем воздухе. Они довольно сытные, и хватает до того момента, пока я не дойду до ворот.

Было половина одиннадцатого, когда я зашел, и Старушка и Старик сидели с включенной настольной лампой и смотрели телевизор. "Тебе нужна ужин?" - спрашивает меня Старушка. "На дороге я съел рыбу с картофельным пюре."

"Наверное, захочешь чего-нибудь попить?"

"Все в порядке, не беспокойся. Я приготовлю какао."

Я захожу в кухню, приготавливаю какао и приношу его обратно в гостиную, садясь на диван. Я думаю об Ингрид, смотря на картину, которая идет по телевизору. Меня интересует, что случилось, что она не пришла меня встретить.

"Где ты был?" - спрашивает меня Старушка через минуту.

"В кино."

"Один?"

"С Уилли Ломасом."

"Уилли Ломас? Думаю, я его не знаю, правда?"

"Мы вместе учились в школе."

"Не знаю, зачем ты тратишь деньги, чтобы ходить в кино, когда можно смотреть фильмы дома бесплатно," - говорит Старик.

"На телевизоре нельзя показать цвет и Широкоэкранный формат."

"Широкоэкранный формат?"

"Большой экран... больше."

"Но это все равно кино, верно?"

Я не стал спорить на эту тему. Фильм закончился, и появилась реклама зубной пасты. Я встал и выбросил окурок в камин.

"Идешь наверх?" - спрашивает Старушка.

"Да, я готов. Сегодня был насыщенный день."

Я пожелал им спокойной ночи и поднялся наверх. В комнате Джима горел свет. Я пошел в ванную и быстро вымыл лицо и почистил зубы. Когда я вышел, меня позвал Джим.

"Что случилось?"

"Письмо для тебя."

Я взял его и посмотрел на конверт. Я посмотрел на свое имя на нем, и вдруг я начал волноваться.

"Где ты это нашел?"

"Я нашел его за передней дверью. Кто-то вставил его, когда мы смотрели телевизор. На нем нет марки."

Адреса на нем тоже нет, только мое имя. Я закрыл дверь за собой, прежде чем вскрыть письмо.

"Дорогая Ви," - там говорилось. "Моя двоюродная сестра решила сесть на поздний поезд, и я пошла с ней на вокзал проводить. Поезд задерживался, и когда я вернулась, было уже половина восьмого. Я пошла на то место, где мы договорились встретиться, но, конечно же, тебя не было. Я буду на том же месте завтра вечером. (Воскресенье). Надеюсь, ты сможешь прийти. С любовью, Ингрид."
