She gained widespread recognition for her groundbreaking research on wild chimpanzees in Tanzania's Gombe Stream National Park. Goodall's journey into primatology began in 1960 when she ventured into the forests to study the behavior of chimpanzees, a study that defied conventional scientific norms and revolutionized our understanding of primates and the interconnectedness of all life.
