At different age people need different things to become happy. For example, little children would spend a million on toys, cartoons and entertainment parks. Adults would buy expensive cars, yachts, apartment or jewelry. As for me, I’m a high school student and I have my own preferences. If I was lucky to win or inherit one million, first of all I would put some money away for college.

Then, I would donate some money to orphanages. I’m concerned about the life of orphaned children. I wish, they all lived in good conditions with plenty of toys, clothing, food, attention and love. I’m not a financial genius, but I would try to save some money for future needs. For example, I could open a savings bank account. If I still have some money left, I would buy a small car. Although I don’t have a driving license yet, I dream of having one. Another dream I cherish is to travel the world. So, if I had a million, I would pick several interesting places to visit, among them Italy, China, Egypt and Scotland. I would also like to buy a pet. It would probably be a dog, as I think it’s the best and most friendly creature in the world. In case I’m rich, I will definitely buy some presents for my parents, my younger sister and my friends.

So, this is my way of spending a million. I’m sure all people have their own views on how to spend large amounts of money. Business-minded people would think on how to double the profit or how to earn more money with this million. As for me, I’m more likely to spend it on studies, travels, pets and charity.

If I had a million dollars, the first thing I would do is invest a portion of it in a diverse portfolio to secure my financial future. Additionally, I would allocate some funds to help support charitable causes and organizations that are important to me. With the remaining money, I would travel to explore the world and experience different cultures, creating lasting memories. I would also use some of the funds to further my education and pursue my passions. In essence, I would aim to strike a balance between securing my future, giving back to society, and enjoying the present moment.
