Within a few months after the official date of foundation of Sevastopol, the first buildings appeared on the first and then only street. For a rather long period, it was considered the Balaklava road, then the Admiralty, Ekaterininskaya, the name of Trotsky. And finally, at the beginning of the last century, in honor of the leader of the proletariat, the street received the name of Lenin, as it is called to this day. Its duration is approximately 1200 meters. The numbering of houses starts from Nakhimov Square and ends in the area of Ushakov Square. The area in which the street was listed was also called Leninsky.



Admiral Yumashev, a street in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol, in the microdistrict east of the October Revolution Avenue. It appeared after the Great Patriotic War, from October 17, 1972 it bears the name of Admiral Ivan Stepanovich Yumashev - commander of the Black Sea Fleet in 1938-1939, Hero of the Soviet Union.
