But the bun cannot sit on the windowsill! It jumps from the windowsill to the bench, from the bench to the floor, from the floor to the door, and runs away.
The bun runs along the road and meets a hare. «Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!» says the hare. «I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother. And I can run away from you, little hare!» says the bun and runs away.
The bun runs along the road and meets a wolf. «Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!» says the wolf. «I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare. And I can run away from you, grey wolf!» says the bun and runs away.
The bun runs along the road and meets a bear. «Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!» says the bear. «I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare, I ran away from the wolf. And I can run away from you, big bear!» says the bun again and runs away.
The bun runs along the road and meets a fox. «Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!» says the fox. «I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare, I ran away from the wolf, I ran away from the bear. And I can run away from you, old fox!»
«What a nice song!» says the fox. «But little bun, I’m old and I cannot hear you well. Sit on my nose and sing your song again.» The bun jumps on the fox’s nose and … the fox eats it!

Once upon a time, in a small cottage deep in the woods, an old man and an old woman lived happily together. One day, the old woman decided to bake a special treat for them – a little gingerbread man. She mixed the dough, shaped it into a round body, added raisins for eyes, and a big smile made of frosting.
As she was about to put the gingerbread man into the oven, it suddenly leaped from her hands and rolled off the table. "Stop, stop, little Kolobok!" she cried out, but the gingerbread man just laughed and replied, "I'll run away from you! I'll run away from everyone! I am too fast for you to catch!"
The gingerbread man rolled out of the cottage and onto the forest path. There, he encountered a hungry fox. "Hello, little Kolobok," said the fox, licking its lips. "You look so delicious! May I eat you?"
"Oh no, dear Fox," replied Kolobok. "I am running away from the old man and the old woman. But you can't catch me, I am too fast!"
The fox started to chase the gingerbread man, but Kolobok was indeed too fast for the fox to catch. Soon, they came across a cunning wolf. The wolf saw the fox chasing Kolobok and said, "Hello, little Kolobok, the fox tells me you are delicious! May I eat you?"
"Oh no, kind Wolf," said Kolobok. "I am running away from the old man and the old woman, from the fox, and now from you too! But you can't catch me, I am too fast!"
The wolf and the fox began chasing Kolobok together, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't catch him. Just then, they spotted a strong bear by the river. The bear saw them running and asked, "Hello, little Kolobok, the fox and the wolf told me you are a tasty treat! May I eat you?"
"Oh no, mighty Bear," Kolobok replied. "I am running away from the old man and the old woman, from the fox, the wolf, and now from you too! But you can't catch me, I am too fast!"
The bear, the wolf, and the fox all began chasing the gingerbread man, but he was too quick for them. As Kolobok was feeling very proud of his speed, he didn't notice a sly hare watching from the bushes.
The hare thought to itself, "I might not be the fastest, but I am clever. I'll trick the gingerbread man into coming to me." The hare hopped out and said, "Hello, little Kolobok. I've heard you are the most delicious treat in the whole forest. May I eat you?"
Kolobok, still feeling boastful, replied, "Oh no, clever Hare! I am running away from the old man and the old woman, from the fox, the wolf, the bear, and now from you too! But you can't catch me, I am too fast!"
The hare put on a sad face and said, "Oh, I don't want to eat you. I just wanted to hear your sweet voice. You see, I am lonely and have no friends in the forest."
Kolobok, feeling sorry for the hare, hopped closer to talk to it. But as soon as he got close enough, the hare made a swift move and gobbled up the gingerbread man in one bite.
And that was the end of the boastful and quick little Kolobok. The old man, the old woman, the fox, the wolf, the bear, and all the other animals in the forest learned that sometimes being clever is more important than being fast, and that being too boastful can lead to trouble. And so, the forest lived happily ever after.
