Стало темнеть и матросы пошли обратно на берег. Они развели костер и просидели у него до утра. Еда кончается и нужно было что то делать. Люди увидели что на пальмах растут фрукты. Их было достаточно чтобы обеспечить всех едой на неделю. Через 3 дня долгого пребывания на острове, вдалеке был виден корабль. Люди начали разводить огромный костер, для привлечения внимания. Моряки на корабле увидели огромный дым, они подплыли к острову и на лодке спасли людей.
