Well, I'm going to give a talk about learning English.  

To begin with, I'd like to say that English plays an important part in people's life. Nowadays more and more people learn English for different purposes. English is used as world's lingua franca.  

As for me, I've been learning English since childhood. Today a lot of students learn English at school. They do it because English is necessary at present. Today people travel a lot and want to understand citizens of other countries. Also, you should know English if you want to have a good job.  

We have English lessons three times a week. Some students have extra classes with tutors or go to foreign language clubs. At school, we read texts, translate and discuss them. Also, we listen to audios, do grammar exercises. Apart from classes, I like watching videos on YouTube or films in English and read English books or articles.  

I like learning English. Also, I'd like to learn some other foreign languages, for example, Chinese or Spanish. Spanish is one of the most popular nowadays. Lots of schoolchildren learn it today. As for Chinese, I think, it's a good challenge for myself. I realise that it's one of the most difficult languages because of its spelling and pronunciation, but it's also among the most popular languages in the world now.
