There are a lot of interesting places here. Some of them are St. Sophia's Cathedral, Independence Square, Khreschatyk Street, and many others. One of my favorites is the Motherland Monument. It is 62 meters high statue that is visible from various points around the city. This status was built to honor the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany.
