The story tells us about a man and a lion who became best friends. One day a man, Androcles, tried to escape because he was a slave. In the forest into which he came, he found a hurt lion, whom he soon helped. Later they became friends and the lion even began to provide the man with food. After a while they were caught and taken to Rome, where they were given almost no food. The lion was offered to eat Androcles, which he did not, and the man managed to tell their story to The Emperor. Eventually they were released and given plenty of food.

Androcles was a slave who decided to escape from the village where he lived and worked as a slave. He believed that his life there was extremely difficult and almost impossible to bear. His only hope was to find refuge deep within the forest among the tall trees.
As he made his way through the forest, Androcles suddenly came across a massive lion. There was no one else in sight, and he was initially terrified. However, he quickly realized that the lion posed no threat to him. The lion was breathing heavily and seemed to be trying to convey something to Androcles, despite not being able to speak the human language. It was clear that the lion needed help.
Upon closer inspection, Androcles noticed a large thorn embedded deep in the lion's paw. Without hesitation, he carefully removed the thorn from the lion's paw, relieving its pain. The lion expressed its gratitude, and from that moment on, they became fast friends. The lion would bring food to Androcles every day, forging a strong bond between them.
However, their newfound friendship faced a severe challenge when the Emperor's people captured both Androcles and the lion. They were taken to Rome and separated. The lion was denied food and grew increasingly hungry, but when they brought Androcles to be devoured by the lion, the lion did not harm his friend. Instead, it greeted him with joy and affection, refusing to harm him despite its hunger.
This act of loyalty and friendship puzzled the Emperor, who demanded an explanation. Androcles was brought before the Emperor and shared the story of how he had helped the lion when it was in pain. Moved by the tale of compassion and friendship, the Emperor decided to show kindness. He provided food for the hungry lion and allowed both Androcles and his loyal friend to go free, understanding the unique bond between them.
