Dear Diary.
Today is my first day at Hogwarts. I met some cool guys. We were assigned to groups and I ended up in Slytherin. I hope I will not be bored here and I will love this group.
Today we took a spell lesson where I managed to turn a frog into an apple. And also there was a lesson in potions, on this subject we learned how to prepare poison for vampires. And of course we went through the history of magic, it was very informative and interesting.
After school we went to eat. Today for dinner we ate fish eyes and unicorn meat. It was very tasty. Now we go to bed in our rooms, because tomorrow we will be taught to ride a broom at 4 am. Hopefully the morning starts well.
Good night diary.

Diary of Harry Potter First Days at Hogwarts September 1st, 1991
Dear Diary,
I can hardly believe that I'm finally here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! The journey to this enchanted castle has been nothing short of magical. It all began when Hagrid, the giant of a man, came to fetch me from the Dursleys' house. I never thought I'd escape that dreadful place, but here I am, on my way to a place where I belong.
The Hogwarts Express was an incredible experience. I shared a compartment with Ron Weasley, a friendly and somewhat nervous boy from a big wizarding family. He offered me a Chocolate Frog, and we got to talking about our families and our expectations for Hogwarts. He was just as excited and clueless as I was, which made me feel a lot better.
Arriving at Hogsmeade was like stepping into a fairytale. The snow-covered village with its charming, crooked houses and cobblestone streets looked like something out of a storybook. Hagrid, who had been my guide all along, took me shopping for my school supplies in Diagon Alley, but seeing the castle from a distance was something else entirely.
The castle itself is breathtaking. As we crossed the Black Lake on those boats with Ron and Hermione Granger, a fellow first-year, I couldn't help but stare in awe at the massive structure. The sight of Hogwarts, lit up against the night sky, with its hundreds of windows, is something I'll never forget.
The Sorting Hat ceremony was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. I was so relieved to be sorted into Gryffindor, just like Ron. The Great Hall was buzzing with excitement, and the feast was unlike anything I've ever seen – piles of delicious food appearing out of thin air!
And then there's Professor Dumbledore, the headmaster. He gave a warm and welcoming speech, and I couldn't help but feel that I was in the right place. There's something about his presence that's reassuring, and I get the sense that he knows a lot more about my past than I do.
Classes haven't started yet, but I'm eager to learn. Magic is all around me, and I can't wait to explore its mysteries. Hermione has already started reading ahead in our textbooks, and Ron's been teaching me some tricks he's picked up from his older brothers. I'm determined to make the most of my time here and learn everything I can.
I can't help but wonder what adventures lie ahead for me at Hogwarts. For the first time in my life, I feel like I'm part of something special, something extraordinary. I have a feeling that this diary will be witness to many more magical moments in the years to come.
Until next time, Harry Potter
