Their journeys were very dangerous but still people keep on going to the unknown lands. Nowadays it is not as dangerous and much more convenient. Do you want to go somewhere? Hundreds of companies are there to help you. They will take care about your tickets and make all the reservations needed. You don't speak the language of the country you go to? There are interpreters that will help you. Tourism became a very profitable business because people are ready to spend their money for the great opportunity to have a great time learning about new countries, going sightseeing, resting and enjoying themselves. I like travelling. First of all, my family and I usually have long walks in the country. Such walks are called hikes. If we want to see countryside we have to spend a part of our summer holidays on hikes. During such hikes we see a lot of interesting places, sometimes we meet interesting people. We take our rucksacks. We don't think about tickets and there is no need to hurry up. As for me, it's more comfortable to travel by train and by plane. But it's difficult to buy tickets for the plane. That's why we buy our tickets beforehand. When I spend a holiday in travelling I always take a camera with me and photograph everything that interests or pleases me: the sights of a city, views of mountains, lakes, valleys; the ruins of ancient buildings. Some years later that will remind me the happy time that I had. Task 1. Люди начали путешествовать очень давно. Самыми первыми путешественниками были исследователи, которые отправлялись в путешествия в поисках богатства, славы или чего-то еще. Их путешествия были очень опасными, но люди продолжают идти в неизведанные земли.

Сейчас это не так опасно и намного удобнее. Вы хотите куда-нибудь съездить? Сотни компаний готовы помочь вам. Они позаботятся о ваших билетах и сделают все необходимое для бронирования. Вы не говорите на языке страны, в которую едете? Есть переводчики, которые вам помогут.

Туризм стал очень прибыльным бизнесом, потому что люди готовы тратить свои деньги на прекрасную возможность отлично провести время, узнавая о новых странах, осматривая достопримечательности, отдыхая и получая удовольствие.

Я люблю путешествовать. Прежде всего, мы с семьей обычно совершаем длительные прогулки по стране. Такие прогулки называются походами. Если мы хотим увидеть сельскую местность, мы должны провести часть летних каникул в походах. Во время походов мы видим много интересных мест, иногда встречаемся с интересными людьми. Берем рюкзаки. О билетах мы не думаем и не нужно торопиться. Как по мне, удобнее путешествовать поездом и самолетом. Но билеты на самолет купить сложно. Поэтому билеты мы покупаем заранее.

Когда я провожу отпуск в путешествиях, я всегда беру с собой фотоаппарат и фотографирую все, что меня интересует или нравится: достопримечательности города, виды на горы, озера, долины; руины старинных построек. Через несколько лет это напомнит мне то счастливое время, которое я провел.
