Little kids usually do not care about animals' health, in most cases, they can even hit the animal without any repercussions; moreover, kids' parents do not care about their behavior in petting zoo because as they usually say "We paid for this!"

          In conclusion, I want to add that meeting animals face to face is not appropriate for humans, because the first enemy of our earth is we are.
