Оптимістична печера

Це найдовша у світі гіпсова печера. Розташована вона поблизу села Королівка на Тернопільщині.

Утворилася оптимістична печера внаслідок розчинення підземними водами гіпсів неогенового віку чотирнадцять мільйонів років тому.

Найбільшим скарбом печери вважаються вторинні мінеральні утворення, які протягом десятків тисяч років росли тут у підземних порожнинах. Це, насамперед гіпсові кристали різноманітної форми та кольору.

Крім того, вражає печера і своїми сніговими кучугурами -  скупченнями на дні ходів печери прозорих голчастих кристаликів гіпсу. Туристи прозвали їх "печерним снігом".

Тут, у найбільш низьких ділянках лабіринту печери можна натрапити на підземні озера, які нагадують дзеркала з води.

In addition, the cave impresses with its snowdrifts - clusters at the bottom of the cave pass transparent needle crystals of gypsum. Tourists called them "cave snow".

Це найромантичніше місце Волині, яке вважається ботанічним феноменом і знаходиться вздовж залізничної колії між селищами Клевань та Оржів.

Утворений був тунель заростями дерев і кущів, які щільно сплелися між собою у арочній формі.
